New park amenity to be added to Lakehaven community

November 20, 2025

Homeowners at one of our newest communities now have more ways to keep active on their doorstep with the addition of a new neighbourhood park.

Extended over 8 acres, Jackson Park will include a Super Netplex® accessible children's playground, a shaded outdoor fitness hub with a range of workout equipment, and a covered pavilion with picnic tables. Residents can also take advantage of new walking trails and a toboggan hill.

Jackson Park stands as a tribute to Mayor Brian Jackson, whose leadership as Innisfil’s longest-serving mayor (1998-2010) shaped the community in lasting ways.

“Our community at Lakehaven continues to grow and take shape, and we are pleased to share details of this new amenity which we are certain will be well received by our residents,” said Eric Malcolmson, Senior Vice President of Development, Parkbridge. “At Parkbridge, we are focused on delivering high quality, exceptional value homes in amenity-rich communities that provide an enhanced living experience today and for years to come.”

A first of its kind in Canada, Lakehaven is a mixed-use community that offers two different forms of home ownership. Developed in partnership with Mattamy, North America's largest family-owned homebuilder, consumers can choose between detached homes sold on a freehold basis or town homes available for purchase via the land lease model.

With land lease, consumers own their home and continue to build equity in their property, while they lease the land that it is built on. A more attainable housing option for many, at Lakehaven, bungalow townhomes are available from the low $500s, providing Canadians with an opportunity to get on the housing ladder sooner. Models range from 1,274 to 1,763 sq ft, and all feature a covered patio with privacy screens, sodded backyards and garages.

Situated in Innisfil, Ontario, Lakehaven is an active lifestyle community located just minutes away from the beaches of Lake Simcoe, walking trails and Allandale Golf course. Along with varied recreation options, Lakehaven also benefits from multiple shopping and restaurant choices nearby —and is less than a 10-minute drive to South Barrie GO train station.
